In the theological discourse on inculturation its legitimation is generally sought in the argument that the church is bound to incarnate itself in the midst of the people as Christ himself did. Granting the above, I would like to demonstrate that the theology of inculturation ought to be biblically founded. My thesis, based on religio-cultural, historical and archeological studies, is that the Bible is the most inculturated sacred book and this fact provides not only an adequate justification but also an obligation to intensify the process of inculturation of the local church.
Inkulturation wird theologisch allgemein damit begründet, dass die Kirche verpflichtet ist, sich unter den Menschen so zu inkarnieren wie Christus selbst es tat. Das erkenne ich an, aber ich möchte darlegen, dass die Inkulturationstheologie biblisch begründet sein sollte. Meine auf religiös-kulturellen, historischen und archäologischen Studien basierende Behauptung ist, dass die Bibel die am stärksten inkulturierte heilige Schrift ist. Diese Tatsache liefert nicht nur eine angemessene Rechtfertigung, sondern eine Verpflichtung, den Prozess der Inkulturation der Ortskirche zu intensivieren.
En teología se aduce generalmente como razón de la inculturación, que la Iglesia tiene el deber de encarnarse entre los hombres así como Cristo lo hizo. Lo reconozco, pero quisiera exponer que la teología de la inculturación debería tener un fundamento bíblico. Fundado sobre mis estudios religioso-culturales, históricos y arqueológicos, hago la afirmación que la Bíblia es la más inculturada escritura sagrada. De este hecho se deduce no solamente una justificación adecuada, sino la obligación de intensificar el proceso de la inculturación de la iglesia local.
