Migration als Weg der Kirche - Erga migrantes caritas Christi

Im Jahr 2004 wurde die Instruktion Erga migrantes caritas Christi veröffentlicht. Dieser Beitrag stellt das Dokument in den Horizont der Theologie des II. Vatikanischen Konzils. Dabei geht es auch auf kirchliche Erklärungen zum Thema Migration vorher und aus anderen Bereichen wie dem Kirchenrecht ein. Die Instruktion versteht sich als Dokument des Dialogs und stellt eine Grundlage für eine „Theologie der Migration“ dar, die den pastoralen Umgang mit Migranten ausrichten soll.

The Instruction Erga migrantes caritas Christi was published in 2004. This contribution presents the document in the horizon of the II Vatican Council. It also reviews previous ecclesiastical declarations on the topic of migration as well as perspectives of canon law. The Instruction is meant to be a document of dialogue and represents a basis for a “theology of migration” which is supposed to guide the pastoral approach to migrants.

En 2004 se publicó la instrucción Erga migrantes caritas Christi. Este artículo presenta el documento en el horizonte del Concilio Vaticano II. Para ello se refiere a declaraciones eclesiales sobre el tema de la migración tanto del tiempo antes del concilio como de otros campos como el derecho canónico. La instrucción se presenta como un documento del diálogo y ofrece una base para la elaboración de una “teología de la migración” que debería orientar el cuidado pastoral de los migrantes.

L’instruction Erga migrantes caritas Christi a été publiée en 2004. Cette contribution présente le document sur l’horizon du Concile Vatican II. Elle examine également les déclarations ecclésiastiques précédentes sur le thème de la migration ainsi que les perspectives de droit canon. L’instruction a pour objectif d’être un document de dialogue et elle représente une base pour une « théologie de la migration » en vue de guider l’approche pastorale des migrants.
