Die Bibel gibt das Wort Gottes in Texten wieder, die über die Jahrhunderte hinweg erarbeitet wurden. Der Beitrag liefert einen Überblick über die Entstehungsgeschichte des Texts und betont, dass es bereits in der Ausarbeitung und Redaktion zu Neuinterpretationen von Texten und biblischer Botschaft kam, je nach den unterschiedlichen Kontexten in der Geschichte. Das Neue Testament ist dabei nicht anders, wenn es biblische Texte neu interpretiert. Die Konstitution Dei Verbum anerkennt diese Eigenheit des Bibeltexts und ruft dazu auf, den Schrifttext zu interpretieren und kontextualisieren nach Maßgabe der jeweiligen Situation der Bibelleser auf der ganzen Welt.
The Bible offers the Word of God in texts which have been elaborated in the course of centuries. The article offers an overview on the development of the text and underlines the occurrence of new interpretations of traditional texts and messages already at the moment of composition and edition, in line with the different contexts in history. The New Testament is no different in its rendition of new biblical interpretations. The Constitution Dei Verbum recognises this character of the biblical text and stimulates its readers to interpret and contextualise the text in the perspective of their present context all over the world.
La Biblia presenta la Palabra de Dios en textos que se han ido elaborando a lo largo de siglos. El artículo presenta una visión panorámica sobre el desarrollo del texto y subraya que ya dentro de la elaboración y redacción acontecieron reinterpretaciones del texto y mensaje bíblico, de acuerdo con los contextos cambiantes de la historia. El Nuevo Testamento no es distinto en su manera de ofrecer relecturas bíblicas. Dei Verbum reconoce esta característica del texto bíblico y anima a interpretar y contextualizar el texto en el mundo concreto de lectores de la Biblia en todo el mundo.

L’article donne un aperçu de l’origine du texte et souligne qu’il est déjà survenu dans la rédaction et l’édition de nouvelles interprétations de textes et du message biblique, en fonction des différents contextes de l’histoire. Le Nouveau Testament n’est pas différent quand il réinterprète les textes bibliques. La Constitution Dei Verbum reconnaît cette particularité du texte biblique et appelle à interpréter le texte de l’Écriture Sainte et à le contextualiser en conformité avec la situation des lecteurs de la Bible à travers le monde.
