Die christliche Gemeinde als Ort der interkulturellen Begegnung

Im Hören des Wortes Gottes findet die christliche Gemeinde ihre Glaubensidentität. Im Feiern der Sakramente der Taufe und Eucharistie (Mahl) vergewissert sie sich der liebenden Zusage Gottes und seiner Erkennbarkeit durch Jesus Christus, welcher schon von seinen Jüngern im Brechen des Brotes erkannt wurde. Taufe und Eucharistie tragen wie das Wort Gottes eine Kraft in sich, die ein interkulturelles Zusammenleben intendiert und fördert zum Wohl aller Menschen.

Listening to the Word of God, the Christian community achieves its iden-tity in faith. Celebrating the sacraments of baptism and the Eucharistic meal, the community is assured of God’s loving affirmation and of the possibility to know him in Jesus Christ, whom his disciples recognised when he broke the bread for them. Just like the Word of God, baptism and Eucharist enshrine the power for intercultural living and foster it for the benefit of all humankind.

Al escuchar la Palabra de Dios, la comunidad cristiana encuentra su identidad de fe. Al celebrar los sacramentos del bautismo y de la eucaristía (la cena), ella se asegura del amor afirmativo de Dios y de que se le puede conocer en Cristo Jesús quien ya en su tiempo fue reconocido por sus discípulos al partir el pan. Como la Palabra de Dios, el bautismo y la eucaristía traen consigo una fuerza que apunta hacia una convivencia intercultural y la fomentan para bien de toda la humanidad.

En écoutant la Parole de Dieu, la communauté chrétienne accomplit son identité dans la foi. En célébrant les sacrements du baptême et du repas eucharistique, la communauté est assurée du soutien aimant de Dieu et de la possibilité de le connaître en Jésus-Christ, Lui que ses disciples ont reconnu quand il a rompu pour eux le pain. Tout comme la Parole de Dieu, le baptême et l’Eucharistie portent en eux la puissance de vie interculturelle et la font progresser au bénéfice de toute l’humanité.
