Der Autor stieß bei einem Aufenthalt in Deutschland im "Haus Völker und Kulturen" auf Objekte und Kunstwerke aus seiner Heimat und reflektiert in diesem Beitrag über die Wertschätzung der Ausstellung sowie die Kunstfertigkeit der Objekte.
Während seines Aufenthalts in Deutschland besuchte der Autor das Museum „Haus Völker und Kulturen“ in Sankt Augustin und stieß unvermittelt auf viele Objekte und Kunstwerke aus seiner eigenen Heimat und Kultur. Seine Reflexion bezieht sich auf die Wertschätzung der Ausstellung und die Anstrengung und Kunstfertigkeit, von der diese Kunstwerke zeugen. Der Autor ermutigt die Museumsbesucher, den Ausstellungsobjekten mit entsprechendem Respekt zu begegnen, da sie dem Museum wegen der hohen Wertschätzung der Missionare, die in Neuguinea arbeiteten, übergeben wurden.
During his passage in Germany, the author visited the Museum “Haus Völker und Kulturen” in Sankt Augustin and ran into many objects and artifacts from his home country and culture. This reflection refers to the appreciation of exhibition and the effort and artistry involved in the elaboration of the art works. The author encourages the visitors to show due respect for these objects, as they were handed over to the Museum out of estimation for the missionaries working in Papua New Guinea.
Durante su estadía en Alemania, el autor visitó el Museo “Haus Völker und Kulturen” en Sankt Augustin y se encontró subrepticiamente con muchos objetos y artefactos de su patria y cultura. Su reflexión se refiere a la apreciación de la exposición y los esfuerzos y la habilidad artística implicados en la elaboración de estos objetos de arte. El autor anima a los visitantes a mostrar el debido respeto por los objetos expuestos, ya que fueron entregados al museo por la alta estima que profesan para con los misioneros que trabajan en Papúa Nueva Guinea.

L’auteur encourage les visiteurs à montrer le respect dû à ces objets puisqu’ils furent donnés au musée en estime du travail missionnaire en Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée.
