Der Autor stellt die biblische Dimension von Heilung dar, die das gesamte Wohlergehen beinhaltet und ganzheitlich gedacht ist und zum Paradigma für den Heilungsdienst der Kirche in der heutigen Zeit werden sollte.
Zunächst betrachtet der Artikel das biblische Verständnis von “Gesundheit” und “Heilung”, um den Heilungsdienst richtig einzuordnen und zu verstehen, was wir damit zu erfüllen suchen. Er zeigt auch, dass die biblische Dimension von Heilung das gesamte Wohlergehen und Ganzheitlichkeit beinhaltet, mit der Absicht die tieferen Dimensionen des Heilungsdienstes zu erfassen, die zum Paradigma für den Heilungsdienst der Kirche in der heutigen Zeit werden sollten. In diesem Zusammenhang beschäftigt sich der Autor mit HIV-Infizierten und Aidskranken, die er seit zwei Jahren seelsorglich betreut, und untersucht die Probleme, die die Ganzheitlichkeit und das Wohlergehen der Aidskranken bedrohen und die Auswirkungen und Herausforderungen, die Jesu Heilungsdienst in ihrem Lebenskontext haben.
The article begins by looking at the biblical understanding of “health” and “healing” in order to situate the ministry of healing in right perspective and to understand what it is that we seek to fulfill in the healing ministry. It also gives a biblical dimension of healing, which is total well-being and wholeness, with the purpose of learning the deeper dimensions of healing ministry that need to become a paradigm for our healing ministry in the Church today. Then the author relates this context with the life of the people affected by HIV and AIDS, as this is the ministry he has been involved in for two years. He too discusses some of the issues that threaten the wholeness and the well-being of people infected with HIV and AIDS and the implications and challenges of Jesus’ ministry of healing within the life context of the AIDS victims.
Este artículo comienza por mirar la comprensión bíblica de “salud” y “sanación” para ubicar el ministerio de sanar en la perspectiva correcta y para comprender qué es lo que queremos alcanzar en el ministerio de sanación. También aporta una dimensión bíblica de sanación que se refiere al bienestar completo y a la entereza. Esto tiene el propósito de aprender las dimensiones más profundas del ministerio de sanación que se deben tornar el paradigma de nuestro ministerio de sanación en la iglesia de hoy. L’article commence par examiner le sens de « santé » et « guérison » dans la Bible de façon à situer le ministère de guérison dans une juste perspective et à comprendre ce que nous cherchons à accomplir dans ce ministère de guérison. Il donne aussi la dimension biblique de la guérison – qui est un bien-être total et un accomplissement – afin d’appréhender les dimensions profondes du ministère de guérison qui doit devenir le paradigme de notre propre ministère dans l’Église d’aujourd’hui. Puis l’auteur relie ce contexte à la vie des personnes séropositives et atteintes du SIDA au milieu desquelles il exerce son ministère depuis deux ans. Il réfléchit aussi sur quelques éléments qui menacent la santé et le bien-être des personnes atteintes du SIDA et les implications et défis apportés par le ministère de guérison de Jésus dans ce contexte de la vie des victimes du SIDA.
