SVD Founding Generation, Anthropos Tradition, and Interculturality

Dieser Artikel stellt die Geschichte und die Entwicklung der Anthropos-Tradition bei den Steyler Missionaren dar. Sie ist fester Bestandteil des Ausbildungsprogramms der Kongregation. Um die Anthropos-Zeitschrift herum entwickelte sich ein Institut von Mitarbeitern, das später zu einem internationalen Netzwerk ausgebaut wurde. Die Perspektive auf Kulturen und Religionen und in jüngerer Zeit die Interkulturalität bauen auf den Gründer und die ersten Ethnologen der Kongregation auf. Schließlich werden in dem Artikel zahlreiche Initiativen des Anthropos-Instituts (International) für die beteiligten Kongregationen und kirchlichen Organisationen insgesamt aufgeführt, die sich für die Interkulturalität einsetzen.

This article presents the history and development of the Anthropos Tradition within the Divine Word Missionaries. It is part and parcel of the formation program in the Congregation. Around the Anthropos journal an Institute of collaborators developed and later on was expanded into an international network. The perspective on cultures and religions and, more recently, interculturality build on the founder and first anthropologists in the Congregation. Finally, the article lists many initiatives through the Anthropos Institute (International) for the congregations involved and for church organizations at large to engage in interculturality.

Este artículo presenta la historia y el desarrollo de la Tradición Anthropos dentro de los Misioneros del Verbo Divino. Forma parte integrante del programa de formación de la Congregación. En torno a la revista Anthropos se desarrolló un Instituto de colaboradores que más tarde se amplió hasta convertirse en una red internacional. La perspectiva sobre culturas y religiones y, más recientemente, la interculturalidad se basan en el fundador y los primeros antropólogos de la Congregación. Por último, el artículo enumera numerosas iniciativas a través del Instituto Anthropos (Internacional) para que las congregaciones implicadas y organizaciones eclesiales en general se comprometan con la interculturalidad.

Cet article retrace l’histoire et le développement de la tradition Anthropos chez les missionnaires du Verbe divin. Elle fait partie intégrante du programme de formation dans la congrégation. Autour de la revue Anthropos, un institut de collaborateurs s’est développé et, plus tard, s’élargit à un réseau international. La perspective donnée sur les cultures et les religions – et, plus récemment, l’interculturalité – est partie du fondateur et des premiers anthropologues de la congrégation. Puis l’article relate les nombreuses initiatives prises à travers l’institut Anthropos (international) pour que la congrégation et les organisations d’Église au sens large s’engagent dans l’interculturalité.
