L'Eglise du Congo à la découverte du synode diocésain

In der afrikanischen Kirche wächst in jüngster Zeit die Zahl der Diözesansynoden. Ein Blick in die allgemeine Kirchengeschichte bietet wertvolle Erkenntnisse zum Verständnis dieser Institution. Verschiedene Diözesen im Kongo haben neuerdings solche Synoden abgehalten. Zum Gelingen einer derartigen Unternehmung müssen eine Reihe von Voraussetzungen erfüllt sein und weitere Bedingungen bei der Durchführung beachtet werden. Die Organisation selber umfasst Punkte wie Planung und Teilnehmerschaft, Koordinierung und Arbeitskommissionen, Themenauswahl und Phasenfolge, Dokumentierung und autorisierte Erlasse. Die Umsetzung der Beschlüsse ins kirchliche Leben bildet den eigentlichen Abschluss jeder Diözesansynode.


In recent years the number of diocesan synods within the African church, including the church in the D. R. Congo, has been on the increase. A look at general church history offers valuable insights into the nature and goals of this institution. If such an undertaking is to be successful, several prerequisites must be fulfilled and additional conditions must be met while it is being held. Many things need to be organized: planning and participants, coordination and working commissions, choice of topics and stages, documentation and decrees. And finally a synod is not really completed until its decisions have been implemented in the life of the local church.


En la Iglesia africana crece últimamente el número de sínodos diocesanos. Una mirada a la historia universal de la Iglesia ofrece conocimientos valiosos para entender esta institución. Varias diócesis del Congo han realizado recientemente tales sínodos. Para lograr el éxito de esta iniciativa debe cumplirse una serie de suposiciones, y han de observarse otras condiciones para su ejecución. La organización misma comprende datos como planificación y participación, coordinación y comisiones de trabajo, selección de los temas y secuencia de las fases, documentación y decretos autorizados. La puesta en práctica de las decisiones en la vida eclesial es la conclusión verdadera de cada sínodo diocesano.
